Crafted by hand from our indulgently soft Sea Island cotton, this is without doubt the finest T-shirt we have ever made. Cut to the same fit as our classic Crew Neck T-shirt, this makes a highly luxurious addition to any wardrobe.
Sea Island cotton is coveted as one of the world’s most luxurious materials. Grown and handpicked by a few dedicated experts in the Caribbean, it is the rarest type of cotton, making up only 0.0004% of the world’s cotton supplies. The cotton’s extra long staple length, fine uniform texture, silky lustre and great tensile strength allow it to be woven to the very highest yarn count; a highly skilled process that just a few weavers in the world are experienced in.

The world’s finest and rarest cotton
Renowned for its beautifully soft handle, Sea Island cotton is the most luxurious cotton in the world. Reaching up to 50mm, it has the longest staple length of all cotton types – 50% longer than standard extra-long staple cotton – creating softer, more durable fabrics that are so smooth Queen Victoria mistook them for silk.
It is also the rarest cotton in the world. Grown by specialists in the Caribbean, each filament is picked by hand to ensure no strand is damaged. A mere 150 bales are produced each year accounting for just 0.00002% of global supply, and these are spun by experts in Switzerland, who, like us, have been working with this unique fibre for well over a century.
“So soft it almost feels like silk”
